Here at Playful Planet Games, we believe that people have an inherent need to learn new things, explore the world around them, and use their imagination.

Play is just one way to learn, explore, and imagine. Children play, but play need not be limited to childhood. Adults play as well.

We are committed to developing games that build upon these principles.

Our first game, , a magnetic board game with 75 letters focusing on language skills, demonstrates this. To play the game, players unscramble (decipher) words, and then build (formulate) new words. As with most play, players do not notice when they use conceptual and problem-solving skills. But in the process of having fun, they strengthen and improve these skills as well as increase their vocabulary.

The game's design accommodates play at varying skill levels and the process of playing itself increases skill level. This allows a wide range of ages to participate.

As with any game, it has explicit rules. However, the design encourages players to develop unique variations.

We feel that once you play you will see that it promotes learning, exploring, and imagining. In short, it is one way of promoting learning through play.
